Secrets of natural makeup: advice from the makeup artist who prepared Dasha Katsurina for our shoot

In July, we launched the long-awaited thermal mascara in brown, featuring blogger and entrepreneur Dasha Katsurina. Dasha's makeup, which looked sophisticated yet very natural, received a particularly enthusiastic response.

We thought we wanted to be able to do the same, so we interviewed Anastasia Burumenskaya, the makeup artist who prepared Dasha for the photoshoot. And not sharing beauty tips with you would simply be a crime. So if you're also on the 'no make-up' make-up team, keep reading!

• What was the main idea and special feature of Dasha's makeup?
• Dasha embodies beauty, lightness, and effortlessness. But at the same time, she lives a fast-paced and busy life where there isn't much time for getting ready, so the choice was obvious — a simple and natural beauty story! I wanted to show how you can highlight your beauty with minimal effort.

• What products did you use in this makeup?
• On Dasha, I used my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE products (believe me, they are almost always in my work kit):
• SENSE and SUNSET multitaskers — I adore using the first for contouring and adding a natural flush with the second, it works like a light bronzer. BROW GEL Sculpt & Care — clear brow gel. Holds brows in place all day long!
• BROWN TERMO MASCARA —serum mascara and the main star of this look. If for some reason you haven't tried it yet, you must! Incredibly beautiful, warm brown color, and it washes off easily. 
• A little SETTING&FINISHING POWDER. This is a loose finishing powder that removed any excess shine that can occur with camera flashes.  I used a blush brush for application.
• And two lip pencils without which I can no longer imagine my makeup — these are the shades Diva and Naked! If you want a brighter effect, you can add a little bit of SENSE multipigment with your finger! 

• What do you like to use for yourself?
• When I do such natural make-up on myself — I also use your PINK Skin Perfector, a pink concealer. It immediately makes my eyes look fresher, as if I've had a good night's sleep.
• Do you have any secret tips for making makeup look natural and effortless?
• I always and everywhere say — incorporate massage into your beauty routine! Don't spare 10 minutes for this magical ritual: when you see how beautifully everything applies, you'll thank yourself. As a bonus — it's just extra self-love time.

And my second tip is that it's better to add layer by layer, so the coverage will be lighter and more natural. Let your makeup blend with your skin, and it, in turn, will definitely tell you where to add more if needed (don't forget that UNICO products are created precisely for this).
